About Ocuflox
Overview
Ocuflox is a sterile eye-drop solution containing ofloxacin, a quinolone antibacterial medicine. It is used to treat bacterial conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers caused by susceptible bacteria. It works by fighting bacteria that are sensitive to ofloxacin.

Safety information
Before taking this medicine
Do not use Ocuflox if you have a history of an allergic reaction to ofloxacin, other quinolone medicines, or any ingredient in this medicine.
Interactions
Specific interaction studies have not been conducted with Ocuflox eye drops. Tell your doctor if you take theophylline, warfarin or related blood thinners, or cyclosporine, and discuss your caffeine intake. Some quinolone antibiotics given systemically have increased theophylline levels, affected caffeine breakdown, increased the effects of warfarin and related medicines, and caused temporary rises in blood creatinine levels when used with cyclosporine. These findings have not been established for Ocuflox eye drops.

Dosing

Storage
Store below 25°C away from direct light. Once opened, follow the in-use period printed on the pack and do not let the dropper touch the eye or any surface. Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
