About Condylox
Overview
Condylox is a topical medicine containing podofilox. It is used to treat external genital warts and warts around the anus, but not warts on mucous membranes. It causes visible wart tissue to die, although the exact way it works is unknown.
What it treats
External genital warts and perianal warts. Not indicated for warts on mucous membranes.
Safety information
Side effects
Commonly reported side effects include burning, inflammation, pain, itching, bleeding and wearing away of the skin at the treatment site. Stinging, redness and headache were also reported. Less common local reactions include peeling, scabbing, skin discoloration, tenderness, dryness, crusting, skin cracks, soreness, ulcers, swelling, tingling, rash and blisters. Severe burning, pain, inflammation, skin erosion, itching and bleeding were reported. Severe local reactions occurred most often within the first two weeks of treatment.

If symptoms are severe or getting worse quickly, seek emergency care rather than waiting.

Do not use Condylox if you are allergic to or cannot tolerate any of its ingredients.

Storage
Store below 25°C in a dry place with the bottle tightly closed, away from direct light and moisture. Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
