Ryaltris

Before taking this medicine

Do not use Ryaltris if you have a known allergy to any of its ingredients, including mometasone furoate. Allergic reactions, including wheezing, have occurred after nasal use of mometasone furoate. Stop using Ryaltris if an allergic reaction occurs. Conditions requiring caution or monitoring include: - Nosebleeds, nasal ulcers, a hole in the nasal septum, impaired wound healing or Candida infection in the nose. - Increased eye pressure, glaucoma, cataracts or changes in vision. - Existing tuberculosis; fungal, bacterial, viral or parasitic infections; or herpes simplex infection of the eye. These infections may worsen. Chickenpox or measles may be more serious or even fatal in susceptible patients. - Excess corticosteroid effects or reduced adrenal gland function, particularly with misuse or use above the prescribed amount. These effects can also occur with prescribed use in susceptible patients. - Use in children, whose growth should be monitored because growth may slow. Ryaltris may cause drowsiness. Avoid driving, operating machinery or other activities requiring full alertness and coordination while using it. Avoid alcohol and other medicines that reduce central nervous system activity, as these may further impair alertness and coordination.
