About Zoryve
Overview
Zoryve is a topical foam containing roflumilast 0.3%. It treats seborrheic dermatitis in adults and children aged 9 years and older, and plaque psoriasis of the scalp and body in adults and children aged 12 years and older. Roflumilast blocks an enzyme called PDE4, increasing a substance called cyclic AMP inside cells, although exactly how this treats these skin conditions is not fully understood.

Safety information
Side effects
For seborrheic dermatitis, common side effects include inflammation of the nose and throat, nausea and headache. For plaque psoriasis of the scalp and body, common side effects include headache, diarrhea, nausea and inflammation of the nose and throat. These were reported in at least 1% of patients. Zoryve foam contains flammable propellants. Avoid fire, flames and smoking during and immediately after application.
Before taking this medicine
Do not use Zoryve if you have moderate to severe liver impairment (Child-Pugh class B or C). Zoryve foam contains flammable propellants. Avoid fire, flames and smoking during and immediately after application.
Interactions
Tell your doctor if you take medicines that inhibit CYP3A4 or both CYP3A4 and CYP1A2, or oral contraceptives containing gestodene and ethinyl estradiol. These may increase roflumilast exposure in the body and the risk of side effects. Your doctor should weigh this risk against the benefit of using them together with Zoryve.

Storage
Store below 25°C with the cap closed, away from direct light and heat. Do not freeze. Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
